Hoarseness of Voice from Vocal Cord Paralysis

Hoarseness of voice have many causes. Commonly seen is a singer's node, a polyp in vocal cord; usually seen in singers or teachers who use their voice frequently.

In this instant case there is paralysis of left vocal cord causing hoarseness of voice. This paralysis may have several causes ranging from nerve injury to a tumour in lungs.
