Baby Feeding Bottle Should not Contain Bisphenol A

Image by FunnyBiz via FlickrPlastic baby feeding bottles contain an ingredient called bisphenol A. The possible role of this agent in hampering immunity development or brain tumour formation was not conclusively excluded.
This has been banned in Canada since October, 2010. Denmark and France are two European countries who banned its use in baby bottles unilaterally. The ban is already in place in Australia and some states of US.
The European Union is going to ban its use starting from early 2011. It remains to be seen when India is going to act.
